Hafr Al-Batin, 3 Sha'ban 1447 AH (22 January 2026)

The "Sustainable Energy and Empowering the Future" conference and exhibition opened today in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate under the patronage of the Governor of the Eastern Province, providing a scientific platform for innovation and green solutions in the energy sector. The event underlines the Kingdom's commitment to environmental sustainability and the transition to a low-carbon economy.

The University of Hafr Al-Batin, represented by its Colleges of Engineering and Science, is organising the conference under the theme "Green Ambitions and Innovative Solutions", with leading experts and researchers from inside and outside the Kingdom. Its specialised themes cover renewable energy sources, energy efficiency and storage solutions, smart grids, hydrogen as a sustainable fuel, climate change, and the circular economy in the energy sector.

Nineteen speakers representing 17 countries take part through scientific sessions, workshops and an innovation exhibition, strengthening the link between research and practical application and supporting Vision 2030's goals in energy and sustainable development.
