The University of Hafr Al Batin, through its Colleges of Engineering and Science, organised the "Sustainable Energy and Empowering the Future" conference and exhibition on 21 and 22 January 2026 under the patronage of the Governor of the Eastern Province and the theme "Green Ambitions and Innovative Solutions".
The conference addressed renewable energy sources, energy efficiency and storage, smart grids, hydrogen as a sustainable fuel, climate change and the circular economy in the energy sector through scientific sessions, workshops and an innovation exhibition, with 19 speakers from 17 countries.
