Jazan, 3 Sha'ban 1447 AH (22 January 2026)

Al-Dayer Governorate took the spotlight this evening in the "Governorate Nights" programme at the Ship Theatre on the northern corniche of Jazan city, part of Jazan Festival 2026, presenting an experience that combined cultural heritage, Saudi authenticity and stunning nature before a large audience.

Heritage troupes gave a richly varied performance of mountain dances and chants, including the mountain Mizmar, the arts of Al-Rayeh, Al-Safqa and Al-Mansouba, and Al-Ashi rhythms, with lively beats and colourful traditional dress. The evening also featured visual presentations of the governorate's tourist and natural landmarks, literary readings and storytelling, poetry and song, and a cultural operetta titled "Lover of My Country".

Visitors also explored rural life corners and the "From Our Museums" exhibition, and sampled Al-Dayer coffee served as the world's largest cold brew, uniting authentic heritage with a spirit of innovation and reflecting the rich cultural and tourism face of Al-Dayer within Jazan Festival 2026.
