The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by its branch in the Madinah region, has activated a video call service at the Mosque of the Two Qiblas and the Master of Martyrs Mosque as part of its operational plan for the Hajj season of 1447 AH, aimed at giving pilgrims and visitors easy access to religious rulings and reliable answers in multiple languages through the latest technology.
The initiative is part of the ministry's continued efforts to develop the dawah and guidance services it offers the Guests of God, using modern digital solutions that deepen religious awareness and ease access to religious information during the Hajj season.
Direct Contact with Scholars and Interpreters in More Than 30 Languages
The service runs on smart devices that allow direct audio and video contact between the questioner and a select group of scholars and interpreters, ensuring immediate answers to religious questions on the rulings of worship and the rituals and other religious matters.
The service supports more than 30 world languages, meeting the needs of pilgrims and visitors of different nationalities and cultures and ensuring awareness and religious messages reach them clearly and accurately.
Digital Solutions for the Guests of God
The ministry is focusing on activating the service at sites with heavy visitor traffic during the Hajj season, providing accessible guidance channels that let pilgrims obtain rulings and answers to their questions quickly and easily without waiting.
The service is one of the technology initiatives supporting the development of religious services in Madinah and raising the quality of services for those visiting the historic mosques during the season.
Deepening Religious Awareness and the Visitor Experience
The video call service reflects the Ministry of Islamic Affairs' drive to use modern technology in spreading religious knowledge and providing religious guidance in multiple languages, meeting the goals of serving the Guests of God and elevating their spiritual and knowledge experience during their time in Madinah.
