Dammam, 14 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH

The Eastern Province Municipality has launched the Summer Flower Season 2026 on the Dammam waterfront to coincide with the Eid Al-Adha celebrations, before a strong turnout of residents and visitors who came to enjoy the accompanying entertainment and cultural activities and programs.

The opening was attended by Mahmoud bin Hassan Al Rutoui, Deputy Mayor of the Eastern Province for Services, as the festive programs got under way for every segment of the community in a family atmosphere that reflects the joy of Eid and enriches the region's entertainment scene.

Varied Events for Families and Children

The season features a wide range of interactive activities and programs designed for all ages. The children's theater presents entertainment shows, interactive competitions and varied segments to delight children and offer families and visitors an enjoyable experience.

The season also provides entertainment and social spaces that strengthen community participation in the festive events held during the Eid Al-Adha holiday.

Folk Arts and National Heritage

The events include folk and heritage performances reflecting the authenticity of Saudi cultural heritage, led by the Saudi Ardah, which draws wide interest from visitors, along with a "Samri" evening and a number of heritage segments that give the event a distinctive cultural character.

The events also include the distribution of souvenirs and Eid greetings to attendees, strengthening the festive atmosphere and enriching the visitor experience.

Enhancing Quality of Life and Entertainment Destinations

The Summer Flower Season is part of the Eastern Province Municipality's efforts to enhance quality of life and activate community and entertainment programs, through varied events that stimulate tourism and entertainment and create an attractive environment for residents and visitors.

The municipality continues to deliver quality initiatives that support tourism and cultural activity, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 goals of improving quality of life and enhancing the appeal of Saudi cities.
