The Eastern Province Municipality is a government body under the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing responsible for urban planning, roads, lighting, parks, waterfronts and seasonal events in Dammam and the cities of the Eastern Province, managing the Dammam Waterfront, Al-Marjan Island and the city's parks.
Projects and events
- The 3.6-kilometre Dammam Corniche redevelopment (announced July 2025) and the investment project to redevelop Al-Marjan Island.
- The Summer Flowers Season 2026 on the waterfront, Eid events and World Creativity and Innovation Day.
- Partnership in Global City Dammam and an interactive pavilion at Environment Week 2026.
