Celebrating the summer season, the city of Najran has launched the Najran Summer Festival 2023, held under the banner "Saifna Hayel" (Our Summer Is Amazing), a two-month program of activities for the public.

The festival is scheduled to start on Sunday, July 9, with a series of events, and will run for two months until September 9 at several venues across the city of Najran.

His Royal Highness Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Governor of Najran Region, reviewed the preparations made by the Najran Region Municipality and the entities participating in the festival.

He stressed the distinctive quality of the festival's events, which meet the wishes of the region's residents and visitors and suit the culture of the community.

The festival program includes a variety of events, among them:

  1. Poetry evenings.
  2. Performances by the Najran Folk Troupe, presenting the folkloric arts the region is known for.
  3. Various competitions.
  4. Entertainment events and the "Eve: History and Civilization" event.

The organizers stressed their commitment to a diverse range of events that meet the wishes of all segments of society throughout the festival.

The festival also includes a variety of events, programs and activities, such as cultural competitions, competitions for people with special needs, an interactive theater and various games, camel racing and equestrian events, folk arts, a photography exhibition, a handicrafts and heritage crafts exhibition, and a shopping tent featuring home-based family businesses.

Najran also hosts many activities at its cultural centers, including the Society for Culture and Arts, the Najran Public Library and the Literary Club.
