The Red Sea International Film Festival is set to launch its fourth edition from December 7 to 11 in the Al-Balad district of historic Jeddah. Through its Red Sea Souk market program, the festival this year brings together 142 exhibitors from 32 countries, creating a dynamic platform for exchanging ideas and fostering collaboration among filmmakers, emerging talent and international industry experts.

Red Sea Film Foundation CEO Shivani Pandya Malhotra said the Red Sea Souk is the festival's central pillar, providing fertile ground for creativity and the exchange of expertise. The souk hosts a series of market talks featuring leading international film figures in partnership with agency CAA, discussing the latest developments in filmmaking and their impact on the global entertainment landscape.

The "Souk Talents" program offers an exceptional opportunity for emerging Saudi and international talent to engage with leading global filmmakers. The program includes interactive workshops covering areas such as mobile filmmaking, film analysis, film marketing, and acting, alongside consultation sessions to help develop film projects.

The 'Inspire' Program: Unleashing Creativity

The "Inspire" program, run by Red Sea Labs, offers a series of interactive events covering a range of fields such as animation, serialized storytelling, and video games. These sessions provide direct engagement with global experts, helping participants sharpen their skills and spark their creativity.

The festival hosts a selection of the finest international and Arab film productions, screening works ranging from restored cinematic treasures to works by rising talent.
