In a notable step to foster a spirit of initiative and innovation, University of Jeddah has launched its Entrepreneurship Camp in partnership with the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at), targeting gifted students within an educational environment that supports creativity and turns ideas into executable entrepreneurial projects.

Camp Goals

  • Spreading a culture of entrepreneurship among university students
  • Developing innovation and design-thinking skills
  • Empowering gifted students to prepare and develop business models for their projects
  • Introducing them to Monsha'at's services and e-commerce consulting
  • Supporting the knowledge economy in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals

Camp Content

Specialized training programs cover the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, design thinking, business modeling, and technical and commercial consulting.

The camp aims to empower students to market their ideas professionally, turn inventions into successful projects, and build viable products.

University officials said: "The Entrepreneurship Camp is a practical step in turning the university into an incubating environment for entrepreneurship and innovation, through a strategic partnership with Monsha'at aimed at building a creative generation capable of contributing to national economic development."
