The Royal Commission for AlUla has announced the extension of the summer fruit season, part of the "Khairat AlUla" initiative, until Saturday, August 3, 2025, in response to strong turnout from visitors and consumers, aiming to give farmers and home-based businesses more opportunities to showcase and market their products.

The season is held at Al-Manshiyah Farmers Market, with the participation of more than 50 farmers from AlUla showcasing a variety of summer fruits, including mangoes, grapes, figs, pergranate (a local hybrid citrus), and summer pomegranates, alongside active participation from home-based businesses offering food and handicrafts inspired by AlUla's authentic agricultural environment.

This season is one of the governorate's most prominent agricultural production periods, with AlUla's farms producing more than 4,900 tons of fruit annually from around 216,000 fruit-bearing trees, in a distinguished agricultural environment characterized by fertile soil, abundant water, and a mild summer climate.

The season is part of the "Khairat AlUla" series, which also includes seasons for dates, grapes, citrus, pergranate, and honey, and aims to support and empower farmers, raise the quality of agricultural products, and boost food security as part of Saudi Vision 2030's goals to develop the agricultural sector and maximize its economic and social impact.

The Royal Commission for AlUla seeks to develop local markets and link them to the tourism experience, by organizing periodic agricultural events that highlight AlUla's agricultural identity and give visitors the chance to discover the region's natural produce, boosting the sustainability of the agricultural sector and supporting the local community.
