Najran Region Municipality organised the "Najran Innovates" hackathon on 18 and 19 August 2025, after opening registration on 7 August, with Najran University as knowledge partner, to attract innovators developing digital solutions that improve municipal services and quality of life in the city.
Twenty-five teams competed in three tracks, with the top places won by the "Atheel", "Techno Care" and "Turning Point" teams, alongside mentoring workshops and judging sessions with technology experts.
