The General Directorate of Technical and Vocational Training in Madinah Region, with the Saudi Federation for Robotics and RC Sports and the STEM Robotics and Innovation Alliance "Saqr", supported by Al Rajhi Bank, organised the Saqr Robotics Championship 2026 at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Sports City from 9 to 11 February 2026 under the patronage of the Governor.
A total of 217 student and trainee teams competed in 12 tracks, with the winners qualifying for the MRC championship in Greece and RoboFest in the United States.
