Jazan, 28 Rajab 1447 AH (17 January 2026)

Fifa Governorate is taking part in Jazan Festival 2026 with a distinctive heritage corner in the "This Is Jazan" event on the Cultural Street, offering a living experience that reflects the depth of the governorate's local heritage and highlights a cultural identity bound to its unique mountain environment and its deep-rooted civilisational and historical diversity.

The corner presents scenes from daily life in old Fifa through traditional dress, handicrafts, coffee tools and heritage artefacts that express the variety of local crafts, alongside visual displays and live performances evoking the agricultural terraces and mountain villages that stand among the foremost symbols of the governorate's environmental identity.

Visitors have flocked to the corner to learn the meanings of Fifa's folk dress and discover its social customs and old ways of life through direct explanations from the corner's hosts, turning the visit into an interactive experience that connects visitors with the spirit of the place and gives them a deeper understanding of the local community.

The corner's organisers said participation in Jazan Festival 2026 is an important opportunity to showcase the governorate's cultural heritage and its value as an authentic element of Jazan's cultural scene and a support for cultural tourism, in line with Vision 2030's goals of preserving national heritage and strengthening its presence at major events.
