The Hail Region Development Authority is a financially and administratively independent government body established by Royal Order No. 7/B/4044 dated 16 Safar 1423 AH (29 April 2002) and later organised among the regional and city development authorities by a Council of Ministers decision in 2018, with the Governor of Hail chairing its board. It prepares the region's urban and economic development programmes and plans, stimulates private-sector participation and follows up major projects.
Its events
- Organising the side events of the Hail Toyota International Baja Rally at Al-Maghwah Park with the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, with more than 20 entertainment and sports experiences in 2026.
- Patronage of regional festivals such as the Hail Citrus Festival, and participation in national tourism forums.
